What we hold,and why.
A residency file is made of personal things. Where you were born, what you earn, who is coming with you. This page says plainly what we ask for, what happens to it, and how to get it back or have it removed.
What we collect, and why
The questionnaire asks for your name, date of birth, nationality, contact details, household, income range and plans. Every field is there because a residence file needs it or because it changes the advice we give. The source of your income and the address on your lease decide the route and the préfecture, so we ask.
We deliberately do not ask for your passport number in a web form. It belongs in the file, collected properly, not sitting in an inbox.
Documents you upload are held so that we can check them and assemble your file.
Where it is held
On Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. Your case record is in a managed database; uploaded documents are in private storage that is not readable without a short-lived, signed link generated for a signed-in member of our team.
Your personal page is reachable only by an unguessable address. Anyone holding that address can see your file, which is why we ask you to treat it like a password and never post it anywhere.
Who sees it
The people working on your case. Nobody else, and we do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
Where a step requires it, we pass specific documents to a sworn translator, a notary, a doctor or the préfecture. We tell you when that happens, and only the document that step needs is sent.
How long we keep it
For as long as your case is open, and for six years afterwards, because residency files are occasionally reopened and because we may be required to show what advice was given.
If you ask us to delete your information before then, we will, except where we are legally required to keep a record of a filing already made.
What you can ask for
A copy of everything we hold on you. Correction of anything wrong. Deletion, subject to the above. Withdrawal of consent, at any time, without having to explain why.

Cookies
The public site sets none. Nothing here tracks you, and there is no advertising or analytics pixel on these pages.
The staff console sets one cookie so that a signed-in colleague stays signed in. Your own page sets nothing at all.
Morocco Residency is not a law firm and is not affiliated with the Moroccan government. If you believe we have handled your information badly, tell us first, and if we cannot put it right, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
